COMMUNITY EVENTS

We provide opportunities for refugee and immigrant families to come together as family, friends and community. As refugee families arrive in the United States and here in Utah, most families make that difficult decision to resettle in a new country for the sake of their children, for safety and opportunity.

As they resettle, refugee families are under an immense amount of pressure, trying to navigate the many challenges of starting new schools, learning a new language and culture, obtaining job employment, many of these life stressors happen all at once.

Our goal is to provide meaningful and engaging activities for them, to offer respite and an opportunity to connect with others and a chance to experience an activity with their family without having to worry for the moment what is next.
